I have lived in Fife all my life, 3 of a family, 8 Grandchildren and my wife. Formerly MD of a family agricultural business. Passionate about sport, especially rugby, having played and coached for more years than was sensible. Living near St Andrews it was a given golf would feature as well.

 

Photography for me started in the late 70s when I handled marketing and PR for our company, developing the images in house. Then followed a number of lean photographic years as work, family and sport dominated.

It was on a trip to South Korea I bought my first digital camera. Once again I had the bug, (others say obsession, I say, if you do something it is worth doing it well)!

​

My development improved dramatically when I joined St Andrews Photographic Society and was exposed to so many talented photographers whose quality and variety of work was inspiring.

​

This led me to undertaking a portfolio of images with the Royal Photographic Society and success in gaining the honour of LRPS.

​

I now want to bring my passion and enjoyment of photography as a business to provide a bespoke service across a wide range of events, occasions and projects. . Photography as a business has never been more competitive. I believe the culmination of any project is best accomplished with the involvement and input of the client through the journey from initial discussion, and planning, to production of the image or images.  My aim is with my personal commitment and style to provide the best possible and most enjoyable experience through my photography to capture the detail, emotion, personality, and nature of a project or event.
